Thank you for your interest in Roger Vaughn Photography. I'm 37, was born and raised in rural southern Indiana, now live in south-central Missouri, received a college education at several Midwestern Universities, and I've had a passion for photography since college. Each of these play a role upon my perspective of life, in varying degrees. A large part of my photography portfolio consists of sports photography, but I also do landscape and nature photos, event photography, portraiture, senior photos, and engagement/wedding photography. Skilled in digital post-production using Photoshop.

My camera equipment includes Nikon digital bodies, and an assortment of Nikon and Sigma lenses depending upon my needs and the situation. Photography is a hobby and stress relieving passion for me that began in college with my interests then being mostly nature and landscape photography.

After college I continued to take pictures for personal enjoyment, but slowly expanded my shooting interests. I've been shooting weddings, senior portraits and similar photos for the last four years now. Through the years photography and my equipment have evolved from film to digital, but the concept and practices have remained the same.
