Assignment – StJ Girls Basketball

Over the weekend I shot pictures at the St James 5th/6th grade girls basketball tournament for the St James Leader Journal newspaper. The 6th grade girls team beat Bourbon in the first round, but had their hands full with a quicker, taller, more skilled team in the second round. This second round loss matched St James against Owensville who they beat to place 3rd. Unfortunately, the 5th grade girls team faired far less fortunate. A series of losses matched them against Cuba playing for the 7th place tournament spot, and they failed to secure a win in that game too.
